Privacy Policy

Double Dragon Technology ("DDT", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

When you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:

• your name, email address and, if you provide it, your company name
• the service you are interested in and the message you write
• basic technical details sent by your browser with the form: the browser and device type (user agent) and the page you came from (referrer)

We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through this website. Please do not include sensitive information in your message.

We also measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views and records general details such as country, device type and referring site. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to:

• reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about
• prepare a proposal or quote if you request one
• keep a record of our communication with you
• protect the website from spam and abuse

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Consent

By submitting the contact form, you consent to us collecting and using your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using your information and delete it unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website. They process information on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Vercel hosts the website, runs the contact form and provides the anonymous visitor statistics.
• Supabase stores the enquiries you send us, in a database located in Canada.
• Resend delivers a copy of your enquiry to our team's inbox by email.
• Microsoft 365 hosts our business email, where we read and reply to enquiries.
• Google Fonts supplies the typeface used on this site, so your browser connects to Google to load it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, for example in response to a valid court order.

Where your information is stored

Enquiries are stored in Canada. Some of our service providers process information in the United States, including while your form submission is being delivered to our database and inbox. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the length of our business relationship and any period required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months.

How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored in a database that is not publicly readable and that only our authorized staff can access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you
• correct information that is inaccurate
• delete your information, subject to any legal requirement to keep it

To make a request, email info@ddtapp.ca. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
